Collaborative Creature

Last week we made a collaborative creature together. I drew a dog's head and then I had to fold over the paper and give it to another person to draw a body. Jacob drew a rabbit's body on my head. Then in the end, Jamie drew a mermaid's tail. When I got my picture back from Jamie, I opened it and it was colourful and beautiful. I enjoyed doing this activity. I named my creature Doggy-rab-mer.

Manaiakalani Fiml festival

On Wednesday we all went on the bus with two partners so we get safely to Sylvia park
We went in the movie theatre
and we tried to find our chairs and when we all found our chairs at the Manaiakalani film festival. When it started and we all enjoyed it. My Favorited movie is about the room six who were trying to make a jam sandwich and it was so funny. The funny one was the one with Mrs Yumul. She put the whole bread on the plate and put the whole jam on the bread we all watched.
The light's were off, it was so dark, all of us enjoyed it and we had fun.

My digital footprint

A few weeks ago we made A digital footprint with Ms Collins.  it was fun because we had to draw around our foot and then write all the programmes we use on the internet. I got 50% which is ok. Some things are good on the internet but some things like lots of games are not good.

Catholic Schools Day

In the morning at school we all saw the buses come and it was for Catholic Schools Day on Tuesday. We were excited because children were coming from two schools, like St Pius and St Ignatius.
We went to Mass and it was a long time but I liked the singing. When we came back to school it was raining but we ate our lunch inside. We couldn't play games with the other schools and they went home. Then we did fun things in our class.

Tika, Pono, Aroha.

We have been learning about how Jesus respected the tapu (sacredness) of people.
Jesus saw a Samaritan woman at a well where you water. He asked her for some water. She gave him some but she wasn't allowed to because he was jewish.
I can show aroha (love) when I look after Joyla when she was crying.

All About Me!

Talofa lava. My name is Upu and I am 8 years old. My Teacher’s name is Ms Agnew. I am in Year 4 at St Patrick’s School in Panmure. And I have two brothers and three sisters. I am Samoan and I have visited Samoa too. I speak Samoan at home with my family. I am good at Jump Jam because I know all the moves and words to the songs. I also get stickers from Mrs George for being so good at it. For me I find it hard to do Maths.  My cousin Leka inspires me to be kind and caring to other people because she is like that to me. She shows me how to play with her Tablet. I would like to be better at my reading. Please read my blog.

St Patrick's Day

On Saint Patrick's Day we went to Mass and when we had finished Mass  we played Sports and games. The game I liked the most was the "Bean bag and Skipping Loop." I enjoyed the whole day and it was fun when we had ice-blocks. They were yummy.
